Wow it is getting chilly!! I'm the kind of person who feels the cold all the time so as soon as Winter comes, I have to dig out every item of clothing that will make me feel remotely warm. I thought I would share all my must haves this year to keep you feeling cosy and comfy when you're out and about too.
My first must haves are JUMPERS! I honestly live in jumpers in the Winter as they are so warm and snugly. They are perfect for layering as well. My jumper collection honestly grows every year but one thing that has never sneaked into my wardrobe is a Christmas jumper...That will probably change this year.
Another must have for me are bobble hats! I just think they are adorable and can just make an outfit look 10x cosier. I only have two but they colours are quite versatile so I can wear them with a lot of different outfits.
I also love boots at this time of year as even thinking about going out in dolly shoes makes me feel chilly. I normally always treat myself to a couple of new pairs every year. I find that as long as you have a black pair and a tan pair you'll be good to go with all your outfits.
One of my recent 'must have' finds are checked shirts. I only have one but I have worn it so much already. This is another item that is great for layering as you could fling a jumper over the top and just have the collar sticking out which I think looks really cute. Also I find checked shirts are really warm as the material is normally a bit thicker than other shirts.
Instead of necklaces, I like going for scarves. My favourites are definitely the chunky knit wool ones as they are just so warm. I'm sure a lot of people will agree that there is nothing worse than the cold winter wind hitting your're neck so scarves are essential!
The final item I have to share with you are slippers. I am a big slipper fan. If I have cold feet I normally find the rest of my body feels cold too. There are so many styles and patterns that you are sure to find the perfect pair of slippers for yourself.
I hope you found this post helpful and that some of the items I mentioned, will keep you cosy this coming Winter!
