I don't know about anyone else but I do love a red lip, especially at this time of year. It's just one of them things that will always be a classic. Its such a simple way to look really polished and put together with very little effort. Also you can never go wrong pairing red lips with winged liner.
When I wear a red lip I like my skin to look very flawless. So to achieve that I of course used my Revlon Colourstay Foundation in Buff which I applied evenly all over my face and then blended with my beauty blender. I then followed up with my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light 2. To set it all I used my new favourite powder which is Revlons Nearly Naked Powder in Light. I didn't want too much colour on my cheeks to I just used a tiny bit of L'oreal's blush in Old Rose. I have been loving using my MAC Fix+ to help keep my make-up in place, so I just sprayed a few pumps of it all over my face.
I started off my eyes by applying my MAC Paint Pot in Constructivist all over my lid with my finger. This is a very dark colour so I didn't want too much more eye shadow so all I done was put a little bit of Espresso by MAC through my crease and outer corner. Since the other eye shadows were so dark, I took MAC's Shroom and put it in my inner corner to help my eyes look more awake. I then used my L'oreal Super Liner to create a dramatic winged liner. After that I applied one coat of my They're Real Mascara by Benefit to my lashes. To finish off I smudged Maybelline's Master Drama Eye Liner into my lower lash line and along my water line.
I also filled in my eye brows using Charcoal Brown by MAC.
Now for the best part...the lipstick! Of course I want the lip colour to stay as long as possible, so I started by lining and filing in my lips with Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Red Diva. To top it off I applied my Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 by Rimmel all over my lips.
I think this is a great look and it could potentially be my Christmas Day make-up. I hope you enjoyed this post!
