Happy December everyone, I still can't believe its this time of year again! Christmas is definitely my favourite time of year, there is just so much to look forward to. One of the things I really love doing is putting my Christmas Decorations up in my bedroom. There's honestly nothing better than coming home from a long shift at work to a super cosy Christmassy bedroom, a hot chocolate and a Christmas movie. I decorated my room a couple of days ago and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope you like what I have done and maybe even get some ideas for yourself!
I love my little purple tree. It matches really well with my room and I think it was only about £10 from Decora a couple of years ago (they still sell it). My little snowman mug is also in the photo it obviously isn't always there, I was just having a cup of coffee!
These cute stockings are a new addition to my decorations this year. They were only £5 from Asda and I think they could be used as an advent calendar as well. I just pined them up half way along one of my walls and I think they look great. This could be a brilliant DIY project as they look super simple to make.
This polar bear ornament is one of my favourites. I just think he is so adorable with his little woolly grey scarf on. Also, since gingerbread men are one of my obsessions I had to buy this candle. It smells amazing!! My cadburys advent calender is in the back there as well.
One of the easiest ways to make a canvas look Christmassy is put tinsel on it. Easy. Done.
Oh look more gingerbread men!! The red cushion and throw are from Dunelm Mill and the soft toy is from the Card Factory.
I hung a huge bauble in the middle of my curtain pole and I also put a baby tree on one of my selves with two Christmas ornaments beside it.
I haven't done too much to my bed except add a snowflake cushion, a cuddly snowman and an extra blanket. I love lots of cushions, it just makes rooms look so much cosier. The snowman was from tesco years ago but its honestly the cutest thing ever because it giggles, shakes and its cheeks light up!
The final thing I have to show you is my bookshelves. I just draped some tinsel over the shelves and then some snowflake lights over the tinsel. I also have a few snowmen decorations and my two yankee candles (red velvet and merry marshmallow).
Thank you so much for reading!
